Sermon (Ledger) shifts from painting toward an extensive body of scripture-inflected drawings that function as visual meditations, theological notes, and philosophical propositions. The cycle treats drawing as its primary vehicle, allowing language and image to coexist without hierarchy. Its only painting, Wrestling with God (2025), serves as a pivotal culmination within the series, while the drawings themselves operate like pages from an illuminated ledger recording spiritual, historical, and genealogical reflection.
