VIII. Nigger Nationalsozialismus

The eighth cycle represents the cosmology’s most expansive convergence of race, German history, religion, genealogy, language, and autobiography. Here the previously distinct systems begin to collapse into one another, producing paintings and drawings in which inherited contradictions coexist without resolution. Rather than treating Black identity and National Socialism as separate historical subjects, the cycle investigates how both continue to shape the painter’s inherited reality through family history, language, and cultural memory. Making visible the hybrid experience of both extremes of Black and White.
